Lots to Update

Well it has been a LONG time since I posted. We have been super busy with lots of activities. So this post is filled with lots of pics.

Some friends had baby goats and so we went and visited. Of course Ty fell in love.

The kids got new pajamas.

Tate did a presentation to other 4-Hers and did a great job.

The team did a fund raiser selling tickets at a hockey game. And Ty even helped.

A sleepy night when we had a hockey tournament.

Playing stacking the play dough.

We went to a hockey game and got to see the Stanley Cup.

Helping bake. The best part.

A very fun meats clinic we went to. Tate had a blast and got to eat some very tasty steak.

Best buds.

Science fair project also served as a 4-H presentation.

He took a CPR class and then a first aid class.

He is also currently taking archery lessons and he is really enjoying it.

Sibling love.

Awards banquet for cub scouts.

Tate got second place over all in the pinewood derby.

State hockey tournament. We took a weekend trip to fairbanks. It was beautiful while we were there. We also took our grill and had a team tail gating party.

Tate played great. He is the one on the left.

We are getting our little farm more organized day by day slowly.

Sticker obsession along with any other things.

Watching an intense hockey game.

Tate participated in a fun filled food day for 4-H. He is decorating his cupcakes for cupcake wars.

He is cooking in the iron chef competition.

He got second place in cupcake wars.

And his iron chef team for first!!!

We now have our pigs. Two for the freezer and showing at fair. And one for keeping to breed this fall.

Pile of pigs.

And someone turned 11. He was pretty excited about the cake we decorated.

Ty insisted it was her birthday so it added some comedy to the celebration.  She even sang to herself. Tate turned out in good shape.

Lazy weekend morning selfie.

Eric's most recent project is honey bees. He is making his own hives.

And the bees have arrived.

But everyone is ready for the big adventure.

Enjoying a late bday present.

And as for me. Well I got a new job and here is my new office. I am now back to working with the Farm Service Agency and loving every minute of it.

Happy Holidays with some Winter FUN

Well we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and that they have a GREAT New Year in 2014!

We have been busy with several things as usual.  Here are some pictures to do some catching up.

A cold day of sledding, but we sure had fun.

And a little hockey is always in our schedule.

For one of Tate's 4-H Service Projects they participated in the local Special Santa's Workshop.  Tate got to shop and put together gifts for 3 different families that are less fortunate in our community.  He had a blast and so did I.

He also had a speaking part in his school's Christmas Play.  He was a toy soldier in the featured "Santa's Holiday Playlist."  He did great remembering his lines, speaking loud and in his overall performance.

We didn't decorate a ginger bread house this year but they built and decorated a ginger bread tree.

We enjoyed our Christmas morning at home and I would say the everyone came out happy.

Dressed for Church.

Aren't these two pretty cute!!!  I sure think so.

More sledding.  They rode down together and Ty was lucky enough to get a ride back up the hill.

Ty loved the sledding, despite the temps being at about negative 10.

Our neighbor friends had baby goats and we got to go and visit them.  As usual Tylynn is a huge animal/critter fan.
