New Pet

This was Tate's find at a yard sale last weekend.

He can almost make it to the bottom of the driveway, even with a big push.

This is Tylynn's new pet. . .at least it was for one night.

We all have bad hair days, but not many can pull it off with such style as Tylynn can.

The soon to be new bouye swing is temporarily being used as an indoor sled.



That's what's so great about big brothers, they can take you for a ride.

We are practicing our good holiday spirit.

And with a tooth emerging, Tylynn likes sucking on ice pops.  Brother also thinks they are good motivation to get her to crawl across the house. . .away from his toys.

Progress

Needless to say, nothing in our house is safe anymore.  The progress that Tylynn has made in just the last week is amazing.

She found some very interesting items in a kitchen drawer. 

She presumed to empty it.

Since then we have cleaned out the drawer and filled it with her things.

Ready for the day!

Last weekend Tylynn had progressed from being on her tummy to the sitting position.

By mid-week she was in the crawling position and had her hands figured out.

Yesterday she was scooting more than crawling short distances however it worked for her

Tonight she started the crawl using her feet and not her knees.

She has always rather stood while being held than sitting.  She will grab our hands and stand herself up with great ease.  Tonight she has taken matters into her own hands.  With her feet together she will rise.

And after she has stood she will become brave enough to even do it one-handed.

Great progress has been made this week, boy does time fly.

Sock War

Yes I am a sweet little girl. . .

And I'll tear it to pieces. . .

And wrestle it down so it quits screamin. . .

Not as innocent as you thought I was.

Weekend Fun

Just some fun shots from our busy weekend.

Tate building something. . .not sure what this one was, maybe a bike ramp.

We all enjoyed the great weather. 

Was limited due to our bad mosquito's but we made the best of it.

Tylynn tested out her new swing, and loved it.

The Colony Days Parade was this weekend.  We walked with our 4-H club.  One of our friends brought their burro (Daisy), and Tylynn thought she was just great.

Busy Busy Body

Summer time is in the air.  We are all enjoying the warm sunny days.

Last weekend Tylynn helped me plant my flowers.

She is starting to move more and more. Isn't crawling yet but sure is trying to stand.  She scoots pretty good for sitting, isn't quite sure what she is doing but is getting close to it.

Can get from sitting to a crawl position then lays on her tummy and cries.

And she is now ready to go fishing  with daddy and brother.

She likes standing so it won't be too long and she'll be grabbing stuff and pulling herself up.

7 Months

7 months old!!

And staying busy and keeping us all entertained.  Tylynn is siting up great. 

She definitely has a sense of humor and has a little mischief side.

She is trying new foods and loves sweet potatoes and pears.  Wasn't really into the bananas.

She loves jumping and bouncing around, so much she forgets she is tired.

She loves Buford.  He is starting to tolerate her petting, until she gets loud.

And Tate keeps us busy as well.  Here is his pinewood car for this year.  Placed second in his den but wasn't quite fast enough to place at districts.

And the lucky boy won a bike at his last day of school!!!!!!!

Yeah for summer and sunshine.
