The Alaska State Fair has started. We attended an employee bbq for Eric's work on Friday. The store is located right across the street from the fair grounds. Great view and free parking. At the end of the evening we had a front row seat to the fireworks show. But in the mean time, there were activities for the kids to participate in.
Ice Cream Eating Contest!
The contestants are all lined up and ready to eat at the pile in front of them.
And they are off. . .
And eating. . . .
Some eating more than others (the boy on the right ended up winning). . . .
And third place goes to Tater for eating 3 ice cream sandwiches in ten minutes!
First Place. . .7 ice cream sandwiches
Second Place. . .5 ice cream sandwiches
Many others could not handle the competition and were DQ'd.
