Alaska State Fair 2013

The fair was a huge success this year.  We learned lots and had lots of fun.
Tate took his two pigs to show this year.  We decided that this would be our learning year, so only stuck with the pigs.  Next year we may go all out with exhibits.

The pigs are all decorated and enjoying their new home at the fair.

Not all moments at the fair were UPS, some were also DOWNS.

Tate got to show a 2 month old Shetland lamb for a lady in the open show, he really enjoyed that.

And Tylynn thought it was super cute and soft!

Not only did Tate get to show a lamb in the open show, but I got to show in the Adult Sheep Showmanship class.

We all had fun and some good laughs.

Tate then got to show in sheep showmanship.

He ended up getting second place!  He now thinks that his 4-H project for next year is going to be a lamb.
